This dissertation focuses on policy success and policy failure from the local scenario. The two case studies selected are the public transport reform as a policy failure and the Euro changeover as a policy success. Therefore, this study investigates the two case studies in order to identify the trends that could make a policy a success or a failure. This is obtained by making use of a number of tools such as different forms of media together with an observation study and qualitative interviews with specialists in the subjects mentioned above. Therefore, the reader is taken along an interesting journey of understanding the complexity of these subjects. This is obtained by a narrative of events, together with an in-depth analysis.en_GB
