Abstract: This dissertation is about exploring two adjacent concepts, these being transnational migration and its effect on individuals' identities, on account of the mass movement of humans crossing geographical, social and cultural borders for various reasons. The aim of this research is to analyse transnational migration from the diverse perspectives of view of the migrants, who found or find themselves into a completely new environment and the act of anatomising identities within these adapted surroundings.
