Abstract: | The first part of the article is dedicated to the launch of a new heritage tourism initiative by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) to encourage tourists and Maltese alike to visit historical sites around Malta and hear the stories of those who are buried there. In conjunction with this project, the CWGC also launched a crowd-sourcing project entitled Stories from Malta which is an appeal for information about the men and women whom are commemorated in Malta. The second part of the article is dedicated to the stories of three men buried in Malta : Hugh Alexander Pollock, Thomas Andrew Beaudoin and Henry Ernest Wild. |
