Abstract: Learning a foreign language can be quite an arduous task for learners and unfortunately it can sometimes lead some to quit. The use of songs can help alleviate such a task allowing for the introduction of alternative teaching/learning methods which can be both useful and above all enjoyable. In fact the use of songs in the foreign language class can be a very effective and entertaining tool given that listening and singing songs in the target language can easily and effortlessly lead to improving the linguistic abilities of the learners.
