The main aim of this practical dissertation is to provide an insight into the Chinese community who has been lives among Maltese nationals. Throughout history, Malta has experienced several migratory influxes from afar. This ethnographic documentary investigates the contribution that the Chinese Culture has continuously offered the Maltese society. The presence of Chinese people and the Chinese culture in Malta has enabled further diversity and enrichment of the current multicultural Maltese society. My aim is to break the socio-barrier between the “Chinese” and the “Maltese” populations. The chosen method of exploring this idea is through a short documentary. The visual representation facilitates the viewer to understand the Chinese nationals’ emotions in the most unbiased and eye grabbing way.en_GB
