| Abstract: | This is an unusual book. It's main purpose is to bring together under one cover, a collection of place-names that relate to the coast of Gozo. It is, however, more than that. In starts with a brief description of Maltese history including language and dialects of Malta and Gozo. It goes into a detailed discussion about the origin of the word,Gozo, and reviews some of the work relating to descriptions of Gozo over the centuries. |
