Abstract: The aim of this study is to explore how Disney's fairy tales influence the lives of females. Using a qualitative approach, four interviews on a one-to-one basis with females between the ages of 19-22 were carried out. Through these interviews the participants were allowed to share their thoughts and feelings about their experiences, as well as how they feel that Disney influenced their perceptions and expectations. The data was then analysed using thematic analysis. This research indicated that Disney's fairy tales do influence women in various aspects of their lives. The most useful result was the awareness that emerged on how Disney's fairy tales could truly impact a female's thoughts, perceptions and expectations of life.
