Abstract: Vella walks through the lesser known streets of Valletta to bring out the character of the city and its people. The varying forms of architecture works as a reflection to the country of which it is the capital, ranging from the grandiose to the simple and old-fashioned. Valletta's streets offers an alternative kind of capital city that moves away from the high rise mania of other countries, and shows in its essence, the roots of Malta.
