Abstract: Since the creation of the Constitutional Court in 1964, the number of lawsuits concerning the Constitution and its Fundamental Rights sections has been very limited. This may reflect well on the drafting of the Constitution and also on the absence of violations of the guaranteed Fundamental Rights, but it may also be due to an insufficiency of awareness on the part of the population in general, as to the full implications of the standards imposed by the constitutional provisions and the types of remedies ensuing therefrom.
