| Abstract: | The scope of this thesis is to examine some medicolegal issues in Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. A number of cases have arisen in Malta, and a solution found by the application of existing legislation. However, in common with other countries, a number of issues in areas where there have been scientific advances have yet to be · tested in the courts. Suggestions for amendments of existing legislation and even enactments of new laws are dismissed. |
