Abstract: The Institute of Condominium is the juridical result of a physical state of affairs or more precisely the fact that a number of individuals at one and the same time oen flats or storeys in independent and exclusive ownership; and own in commnon between themselves certain other things such as the stairs or the roof., Thin state of co-ownership is imposed unon the individuals by the fact that the things owned in common serve to complement the use of the particular flat owned by each person and if such a person were to lack these rights over the common parts of the building, the enjoyment of his rights over the flat itself, shuould as a result be considerably diminished
