Abstract: | Partnerships are associations of individuals carrying on business in common with the view of making profit. The creation of Partnerships was the natural and logical consequence of the social character of man. Certainly enough what has contributed enormously to the development of partnerships is the fact that greater results can accrue from the capital and initiative of several individuals than from those of single persons. Today when the needs of consumers for all sorts of commodities have reached unprecedented levels it would be impossible without commercial partnerships to satisfy modern demands. It must therefore be borne in mind that commercial partnerships are not the creation of the law. They are the emanation of the requiemenrts of trade : the law merely recognised their existance and later prescribed rules to regulate thier operation. |
