Il computerese : l'uso di internet nella didattica dell'italiano come lingua straniera

Abstract

In the first part of our dissertation, we describe what is Internet and the advantages it offers. We explain also the use of text analysis in the teaching of a foreign language. We describe the local situation in the secondary schools and how the present situation can be improved. In the second part we present a teaching package containing a students' workbook together with an audiocassette. The teaching pack, "Cliccando con Larete" consists of 25 text analysis divided in 5 sections: Cronaca e Attualita, Sport, Cinema e Cultura ltaliana, Musica, TV e Spettacolo. The texts were downloaded from various websites. Each text analysis starts with the presentation of a topic, goes through comprehension, grammar and vocubulary exercises and ends with practical work on Internet.
