Presented in this study, there are three case study vignettes, the subjects being three persons with learning difficulties, whom I will be referring to as trainees. These trainees take part in a music programme at the Eden Foundation. The data for this study was collected through field notes from participant observations and semi-structured interviews with both music facilitators and the three trainees. Through the colleted data this dissertation explores the effects which music has in enhancing intra and inter-personal skills such as, social awareness, communication, feelings and emotions. The data was then analysed against my knowledge on music therapy and persons with disability.en_GB
