The aim of this research is to inquire about local private-sector primary teachers' awareness and attitudes on computer use and investigate what is actually being done in those private-sector primary schools, that have already started using this aid. Information about teachers' attitudes is obtained from a questionnaire distributed to 200 teachers in 28 different private primary schools in Malta and Gozo. Being divided into five sections, it obtained: personal data; teachers' familiarity with computers; availability of computers and its purpose; teachers' awareness on using computers as a teaching/learning aid; and feasibility to use a computer as an educational aid. This data was then compiled on a spreadsheet, interpreted and compared to other studies done in Malta and abroad.en_GB
