Abstract: The "Copying" sub-test from the British Intelligence Scale was administered to a sample of 116 Maltese children aged 5:5 to 8:0. The reliability (test/re-test) of sub-test was found to be 0.43. The validity of the sub-test was investigated by comparing the "Copying" test scores with those obtained on three other ability tests - The Goodenough-Harris Drawing Test, the Circle-Square-Diamond Test and Raven's Coloured Matrices.
