Teaching pack for I.T. applications : Internet

Abstract

In the light of the implementation of the new National Minimum Curriculum and the introduction of Internet into schools, this dissertation should provide a set of resources which can be used when teaching the Internet component of the LT. Secondary school syllabus. This teaching pack consists of activities, schemes of work, information sheets (in a Web page version and a print version) and video-clips. These resources are all available on the Teacher's CD. The Student's CD, as the name implies, is meant to be used by the students and it includes the information sheets (in the Web page version only) and the video-clips. Apart from this, this dissertation also explores methodological ideas and principles which need to be adopted, not only in the teaching of Internet, but also, as a general attitude shared by all the persons who have the students' education at heart.
