| dc.description.abstract | Il-familja Depasquale għandha l-għeruq kollha tagħha fil-Belt Senglea. Fil-fatt, jista' jingħad b'ċertezza li din il-familja diġa' kienet fl-Isla lejn nofs is-seklu tmintax. Fis-26 ta' Ottubru 1837 twieled fl-Isla Agostino Giuseppe Depasquale li fis-7 ta' Ġunju 1868 iżżewweġ lil Vincenza Vassallo minn Ħal Qormi fejn mar joqgħod wara dan iż-żwieg. B'hekk, il-familja Depasquale imxiet u bdiet tistabbilixxi lilha nnifisiha f'Ħal Qormi. Iżda dan Agostino Giuseppe, li kien spiżjar, fis-sena 1938 sar il-bużnannu ta' Annetto, tfajjel li kellu jkun "nisrani mgħammed li qeda' lill-Knisja ta' Kristu, kien saċerdot u kien Isqof ... il-karatteristiċi tal-ħajja nisranija għexhom tul ħajtu kollha. | en_GB |
