Abstract: | The aim of this study was to identify the major issues and contentions arising from support teaching, the learning difficulties which pupils are facing in primary schools, the roles of the support teacher, the partnership with parents and the introduction of IT with children needing support. Suggestions are given as regards the type of activities adapted for these learners. Chapter 1 explores the themes involved in the field of learning support such as in-class and withdrawal system and the ideal time to start this service. Recent definitions are also included.
