| Abstract: | 'This is a new subject.' (Proceedings, 2000, page 133). In this regard, our aim of study is to analyse Design and Technology through its constituent activities, including the design and make aspect, problem solving, creativity and technological literacy. It is within our interest to explore how and why Design and Technology is going to be introduced in Malta, going through the locally proposed technology curriculum as well as analysing foreign curricula. It was decided to approach the members of the working group responsible for the introduction of Technology Education in Malta to have their opinion and point of view, in order to accomplish our aim of study, that is 'What do I understand by Design and Technology'. |
