L'emploi potentiel et actuel des ressources dans l'enseignement de FLE : une etude de l'application des ressources au niveau debutant dans les ecoles secondaires d'etat

Abstract

The aim of this dissertation will be to research the various resources which can be used in the teaching of French as a foreign language in such a way as to enhance effectiveness in communicative competence and at the same time render the learning process more enjoyable. It will study the various uses and advantages of resources actually or potentially available in state secondary schools, including those resources such as Internet and language laboratories, which as yet are not available in our schools. Questionnaires to newly graduated and experienced teachers of French will give us an insight into the following points: - (1) whether and how much resources are being used, (2) why they are/not being used, (3) among the resources at present being used, which are considered to produce the best results and which have been tested and deemed impractical/inefficient and under which conditions, (4) whether unavailable resources would be used if made available and which of these resources are considered most important and why. The dissertation will moreover analyze whether there exist patterns depending on the schools (level and internal organization).
