Abstract: Every individual human being has a right to have his own intrinsic values realized and respected. In children these values comprise the task of emerging the child as a distinct personality, through inherited traits and also through what the environment provides with regards to learning. The richer the experiences from environment are, and the earlier they are catered for in life, the higher the possibilities of a richer and fuller life with relation to self and to society in general. This entails guiding the child to every sort of direct expansion and concrete learning of the physical world to, at least, some grasp of the main pattern of society. Because the child is dependent, receptive and in need, he is particularly motivated and ready to learn the personal and social skills from lived experience. This dissertation was submitted to the department of educational studies M.C.A.S.T. as part of the requirement of the three year course (1974/77) leading to teachers certificate.
