| Abstract: | Hemipteran material collected from the Maltese Islands has yielded eleven species previously unrecorded, belonging to three different suborders as follows: nine new records of Auchenorrhyncha (Bursinia sicula Emeljanov, Chloriona sicula Matsumura, Eupteryx zelleri (Kirschbaum), Euscelis cf. ohausi Wagner, Opsius cypriacus Lindberg, Paralimnus phragmitis (Boheman), Reptalus quinquecostatus (Dufour), Tachycixius pilosus (Olivier) and Toya ibiturca Asche), and a new record for both the suborder Heteroptera (Plea minutissima (Leach)) and the suborder Sternorrhyncha (Planchonia arabidis Signoret). |
