Abstract: In the current literature, we often find a stated or suggested relationship between Technology Education and Science. With the aid of a small number of Technology Education and Science teachers, using the local syllabi for the secondary schools, we will establish overlaps between these two areas. We will examine them, and determine whether conscious effort on the part of the teacher to exploit the overlaps is advantageous to the pupils. We will gain constant feedback from the teachers. This feedback will become the data through which we hope to analyse the advantage/disadvantage to the pupils. A phenomenological study of the overlaps between Technology Education and Science Education, using a small number of teachers of these areas.
