Abstract: Traditional methods of teaching by and large expect learners to reproduce factual knowledge. Outdoor education participants are constructing their own reality. This approach not only encourages curiosity and reflection but above all it provides space for participants to learn according to the style that suits them best. The aim of the study is to bridge outdoor education with environmental education by presenting an activity pack suited for late secondary students and tailored for Comino. Environmental education aims at providing pro-environmental values and so this activity pack aspires at reaching these values through experiencing the environment. This dissertation starts by an analysis of literature and key issues discussed. It continues by describing, explaining and analyzing the pack of activities accompanying this thesis.
