| dc.description.abstract | This dissertation explores the worlds of multimedia and virtual reality focusing mainly on 3D Modelling and the creation of Educational Software. The aim of this Multimedia Production is to help the user/s to better appreciate how our Neolithic ancestors lived. It focuses mainly on the ruins of Mnajdra situated at Qrendi (Malta). The user would have the opportunity to virtually visit Mnajdra by using a special 3D Multimedia Software supplied together with this document. Full interactivity is possible, giving the user the opportunity to move freely through the Mnajdra complex, and click on various spots of interest. Various photos, videos, texts and commentaries are available to help the user in getting a clearer idea of both aesthetic and historical aspects involving the complex. | en_GB |
