| Abstract: | The aim of this dissertation was to investigate some direct or immediate effects of TV Violence on schoolchildren aged 8-10. Therefore, the present study sought to (a) highlight research already carried out on the subject and (b) to investigate the results of a questionnaire which I circulated among 381 schoolchildren in Government and Private schools in Malta and Gozo. A number of deductions which may be drawn from those same results, as well as, indications as to the future course of research in this area have been brought forward. |
