| Abstract: | This dissertation sets out to discover the different types of parental involvement in homework assignments at the primary level. The study focuses on year 5 students, attending three different state schools in Malta. The research is divided into two main sections, which aim to provide insights on the views and habits of pupils regarding homework assignments, and the different types of parental involvement these are engaged with. From our study we could analyze the present situation in the three schools and come up with some suggestions and recommendations, which we think, are appropriate and could lead to more effective parental involvement in homework assignments. |
