Abstract: This is a linear programme in direct current electricity. It is divided into a set of frames which convey the information to the student and at the end of each frame there is a question, the answer of which is to be found in the response. The programme was tried with Form III girls at Mriehel Secondary School and a test was administered at the end. The results of the test are included and these are compared with the half-yearly Physics and Chemistry marks. A brief analysis of the results follows. In this way it is hoped that the effectiveness of the programme is made clearer. On the whole it is made pretty clear that the programme was well accepted by the students and that further programmes should be encouraged.
