Creatively productive artists use a number of methods which teachers can learn from and apply in art education. My study aims to analyse present approaches to creativity in art currently used by artists in Malta and to determine how these can be applied in art education in Maltese secondary schools - ranging from the short term context (within a single lesson) to the long term creative process (such as projects that include investigation, documentation, experimentation and realisation). The application of the identified creative processes will hopefully inspire artistic creativity by providing a compilation of powerful insights and practical ideas to guide art students in Maltese secondary schools to successful creating.en_GB
