Abstract: | AS our Civil Code deals expressly with unilateral promise of sale in Section 1407 (1) and omits to mention bilateral promises of sale, it may not be out of place to examine the real position of the latter in our law. Such bilateral promise is in common use and it is essential to establish its real nature so that one can deduce its true effects. The utility of such investigation is all the more felt when one considers that bilateral promises of sale are more common than unilateral promises. |
