Abstract: | THE ''Law Journal'' published by the Students' Law Society bears on its cover the very significant motto Legum servi sumus ut liberi esse possimus. The motto is very significant. It may be considered as the historical synthesis of Man's efforts to establish the very basis of personal freedom within an organised community regulated by a set of laws, which guarantee him such freedom at the price of a partial restriction ·of his own liberty of action within the same society. |
