| Abstract: | The dissertation is divided into three parts. The first part is a theoretical approach to poetry. It discusses the origin and the history of poetry and the different characteristics of poetry, together with a synopsis: of current thought concerning the teaching of poetry. The second part of the dissertation contains the anthology proper which is. divided into six themes which recur throughout the four classes of the primary school. The third part is meant to illustrate the authors' theories: regarding poetry lessons .. |
