dc.description.abstract | In this dissertation starts to examine how the secular world looks upon atheism and the innate need for God today. The inspiration came about from the works of Professor Alister E. McGrath, a professor in Science and Religion at Oxford University, and the books of Professor Richard Dawkins, a professor for Public Understanding of Science at Oxford, now emeritus professor at New College Oxford. Their point of view was applied to ground the contemporary response of religion in view of humanism in secularization today. Some scientists deem religion as irrelevant, so the objective is to show that religion and science are both essential in today’s society. | en_GB |
