dc.description.abstract | This dissertation aims to analyse the triangular relationship in a bilateral conflict, in the very recent case of the five Bulgarian medics and the Palestinian doctor accused in Libya for deliberate infection of almost five hundred children. It illustrates what positions the state of Libya, Bulgaria, France had in it what are the relations between them, how they change, what motivates the third party to intervene in the conflict, and what it is gaining at the end. In the first chapter, I am presenting the whole content to the case, when it started, the continuation of the trials in Libya, the sentences in pronounced and the end of the eight years long saga. ln the literature review are illustrated the most important political theory elements, that are dealing with the case. I am dividing the problem into three essential issues which appear as a result from the relations between the states - conflict, conflict resolution and mediation. | en_GB |
