Abstract: November 5th, 1999 marked the tenth anniversary of the signing of the Taif Agreement. This accord initiated the end of the 1975 Lebanese Civil War in all its phases. The year 2000 marks ten years since its end. These two significant events have prompted the need to discuss what lies ahead for one of the most diverse and volatile country in the Levant.
