Abstract: Money laundering may be described as a modern economic plague and poses a significant threat to most economies. First and foremost, this study aims to shed light and create awareness about the problem and how various professions can knowingly or very often unknowingly get involved in this very serious crime, and also looks at who is involved in this criminal offence and how they become involved.
