Abstract: The present research has the following objective: to obtain information about the sociolinguistic behaviour of post-secondary students in Gozo. Their behaviour is investigated by using three approaches from sociolinguistics: an anthropological approach to code choice, a sociological approach as regards diglossia, and a social-psychological approach to the investigation of language attitudes. The fieldwork for this study was carried out between October 1994 and March 1995.
