The relationship between music and architecture through time

Abstract

When formulating the title for this dissertation the author met and discussed with a number of prominent architects and musicians in order to understand their interpretation of this relationship. Time became a defining parameter during these discussions and this paved the way for the research. Indeed, through the development of this dissertation it became apparent the numerous ways through which time can be explored.
