Man’s call to holiness : an aspect of Pauline spirituality in Romans

Abstract

Throughout the ages living a life towards holiness was seen as restricted to some particular groups as if they had the key to heaven. During my theological studies, I have often pondered on this issue an<l thought that it would be an interesting topic to study in depth for my dissertation. Reading Paul's Letter to the Romans I have come across a great treasure of Pauline spirituality which clearly depicts God's call to holiness and I longed to study the Letter deeper and try to bring to the foreground this aspect of Christian spirituality.
