Abstract: Embedded software shapes our day-to-day life. Embedded applications are found on cell phones, home appliances and automative components such as car engines and in-car entertainment. The complexity of embedded software is very high die to real-time and interface constraints. Embedded system developers and system-on chip designers select microprocessor cores and a family of tools and libraries to quickly design and optimize system software on microprocessor-based products.
