With two thirds of the earth's surface covered by water and the human body consisting of 75 percent of it, it is evidently clear that water is one of the prime elements responsible for life on earth. Water goes through a hydrological cycle where water from the oceans evaporates, forms into clouds and precipitates as rain, snow, or ice to create surface water runoff. The surface water runoff, when controlled regenerates underground aquifers and when uncontrolled can cause several thousands if liri in damages.en_GB
