Abstract: Needless to say, ventilation is a vital aspect in an internal environment for every human person to achieve basic health requirements and the acceptable thermal comfort. To achieve the required ventilation rate, mechanical ventilation is generally used in modern buildings, which is very energy intensive unlike, in the time of vernacular architecture where buildings used to be naturally ventilated.
