Abstract: Whenever a study regarding the archaeology of Palestine is attempted, scholars inevitably tend to look for parallelisms between their archaeological discoveries and what they read in the Bible. Even though such investigations are usually done with the best of intentions, subjectivity and pre-conditioning has occasionally produced negative results and severe misinterpretations. I However, no matter how hard, scholars have tried to create a distinction between Palestinian Archaeology, and Biblical Archaeology, the two are inevitably entwined. The connection is further heightened by the fact that from all of the archaeology going on in the world to-day, nothing ary.ies as much public interest as Biblical Archaeology does.
