| Abstract: | Since 1991 the Hal Saflieni Hypogeum has followed a rigorous program aimed at its rehabilitation Conservation measures were focused at stabilising the microclimate of the complex to prevent the further deterioration of the irreplacable red-ochre decorations. All the conservation problems were anthropic in nature and the challenge was to find a way of allowing visitors in the site while eliminating these problems. |
