Abstract

Maltese Filigree Jewellery is generally valued for its strong traditional connotations and less so for its distinctive design features. This practical project will identify some hidden underpinning principles of graphic design which are also present in Maltese filigree with the scope of incorporating the same design within filigree packaging. In turn the final product will embody and complement the true beauty and laborious work of filigree craftsmanship.
