Abstract

It appears that words cannot keep up with the continuous advancement in technology. This dissertation attempts to capture a snapshot of the economic opportunities made available through the popularity of applications on mobile devices both on a global level and national level. Secondly, it uncovers the behavior of the digitally competent University of Malta student; those who lead the future of the mobile market. The study' s findings depict how Maltese young adults have truly incorporated the mobile device culture. On the other hand, it also shows that there remains some lack of education in some fields of this development. These findings, together with the detailed literature reviewed can aid any organization uncover ways to get rooted permanently in this escalating mobile industry.
