Abstract: This paper will be divided in following chapters: 1) Chapter I will introduce the problem in general terms. It will discuss the general issues in quality of information found on the Internet and the differences between printed material and that found on the World Wide Web. 2) Chapter II will introduce the work of others in the field of quality of information found on the Internet. It will discuss several issues noted by various authors, in particular the different criteria that can be used in order to check the background of the information provider, as related to the Internet sources. 3) Chapter III is a practical approach to the subject. It gives relevant details of the research conducted. This chapter will include results and the conclusions arrived at after the research. 4) Appendix 1 : Reference list 5) Appendix 2: Bibliography - List of relevant Internet sources 6) Appendix 3: Esthe1 Grassian checklist 7) Appendix 4: Evidence of the research conducted, saved in MHTML format together with the results of the random search done by Yahoo! Search engine.
