Abstract: | A video documentary on the current state of Palestinians with Israeli citizenship was produced. Production took place during 15 days in a work camp organized by an Arab youth organization based in Israel. All stages from pre production to post-production were described while analyzing styles used while shooting and editing this video documentary. Different tools and techniques were analyzed and discussed with the aim of producing a documentary that promotes social change. The question of ethics in documentary was also raised, how far can we manipulate reality to get our message through? |
