Abstract: This dissertation attempts to identify Malta's prospectives for sustainable tourism development through multi-stakeholder interactions. The rationale being that tourism may irreversibly consume the very resources it depends upon, unless it is well planned and managed. Consequently sustainable tourism development hinges on effective interconnected relations of discoursive power and knowledge that needs to be networked; knowledge, that unless integrated, is otherwise restricted to either micro or macro levels within the industry.
